January's Dog of the Month is Isla, the 2 year old GSD bitch.
Isla has found a loving new home in Alicante, Spain, so she will be swapping her kennel at cold and frosty Mulben for a sunnier climate and her own private swimming pool - Lucky Thing! She will be packing her bags full of the usual female necessities :- sunglasses, suncream and of course her hair brush. A girl still has to look her best afterall. However, like all of us travelling abroad, she has had to have her immunisation injections from the local vets. She took advantage of the pet passport scheme and like thousands of other pooches, she will be flying across the channel and visiting foreign lands.
Although Bobby and Ian will be very sad to see her go, they are delighted that she has found such a loving family in such a nice part of the world. In fact, they are a little bit envious as Isla will be living in the lap of luxury in much warmer temperatures than here - especially in the middle of January. But of course they might have to make the odd visit out there - just to make sure she has settled in ok and is not overdoing the sunbathing!
All her friends at Trialex Kennels, both human and canine will miss her but they wish her all the very best for her future and will always remember her for being the lovely girl that she is. She will, they are sure, make her new owners very happy and give them as much love as she has given everyone here.
